Richard B. Cheney is an outstanding American businessman, politician, and public servant. Cheney a familiar face in the Washington political landscape, has served under several U.S. presidents George W. Bush is his fourth elected official. Bush has chosen Cheney as his vice president running mate in July 2000 citing his wisdom and knowledge. Dick Cheney served as the chief of staff for the president, as well as a Member of Congress and secretary of defense. He is an honest man and is respected by Republicans as well as Democrats. Cheney claims that he views his job within the administration as one of a straightforward but discreet advisor to Bush. Cheney was the first to accept the Republican Vice Presidential nominating in 2007 said the he is looking forward to having a President who can reach across the political aisle to collaborate with adversaries with respect and an unifying aim. Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on the 30th January of 1941. He was born in Lincoln Nebraska. After 13 years of age, old, he moved with his family from Nebraska to Casper within the Western state of Wyoming in Wyoming, where his father directed the district for soil conservation in Casper in the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
